Sub-courses
A sub-course is a course inside another larger course. This is especially important when you want to award certificates, diplomas or degrees based on the outcome from several other courses or course modules.
A sub-course allows you to nest courses inside one another. Now when a course contains sub-courses, their respective grades are automatically pulled from the respective sub-course – hence making grading and certification award much more convenient.
Can I have a course with regular assessments as well as sub-courses?
Sure. Your courses can be a composite of actual quizzes and assignments as well as sub-courses. And there is no limit to how many such composite courses you may have. So you have nothing to worry about.
